“I designed the ‘From You With Love’ bracelet to keep every new owner protected and reminded, every day, to look out for each other. Each purchase of the bracelet will support a child.”

Bracelet
The “classic” Bracelet was inspired by the Tibetan Dorje (in Sanskrit called ‘Vajra’ ) which means ‘thunderbolt’ or ‘ diamond’. It represents spiritual power. One can meditate on the Dorje to achieve what is called ‘the thunderbolt experience’ – it is a symbol of union of the relative and absolute truths. Relative truth is what we experience in everyday life, conversely, absolute truth is the timeless state of being unified with nature and everything around us. Therefore the Dorje is also thought of as a spiritual weapon to banish non truths and bring in the truth. And when worn, it reminds the wearer just like a diamond, the indestructibility of knowledge. In time the brass or silver plated Dorje naturally will change colour, it signifies just as in the Buddhist belief the ‘Impermanence’ of life, that nothing is forever, and this too will change. The wooden beads represent the Buddhist prayer beads, which is another form of meditation. And, the red string came as an inspiration from “Kalava” the sacred hindu thread tied by a priest whilst performing Hindu rituals, believed to worn off evil from the person wearing it. According to Buddhist tradition, a protection cord may be red, yellow, blue or black.
Pouches
Each bracelet will come in a pouch. On the back of the pouch, you will find a Tibetan flag, representing a combination of mantras, special prayers with auspicious symbols. Prayer flags are a celebration of life, expressing love, affection and gratitude. They are an important part of day to day life in the Buddhist community. Please note, any tiny imperfections you may notice on the pouch is evidence they are handmade and hand printed by a Buddhist community in India. And, by purchasing one of these beautiful bracelets you will also through ‘From You With Love’ help support the Buddhist community in Ladakh. Thank you!!!
