What is the FIA’s Action for Road Safety ?
The FIA’s Action for Road Safety aims to commit all of our members to ambitious projects, with results that are both tangible and quantifiable.
The campaign will focus the federations’ resources on helping both sport and mobility organisations inform their members of the importance of improving road safety. It will see each member of the global FIA family make a commitment to address a critical road safety problem in their country.

Seven times World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb said: “ I support this campaign and other road safety initiatives: road crashes kill on the same scale as malaria and it is important for long -term action at the highest level in order to make roads safe.”
Ruben’s Barrichello, Formula One’s most experienced driver and incumbent chairman of the Grand Prix Drivers Association said: “The number of people killed and injured on the roads every year is a cause of great concern and I wholeheartedly support the FIA’s Action for Road Safety campaign and the way it hopes to address this.“
